INTERCESSIONS:
o
We pray
for the bereaved as they approach the holiday season, that “the God of all
comfort” will comfort them in their grief, that they may also comfort
others, with the comfort they have received (II
Cor. 1:3,4), remembering especially the families of Tony Bevacqua
(father of Jo Ackerman), Constantine Lewshenia (father of Ruth Holmes),
Dwight Peterson, Bill Roberts, Canon Hermann (after the death of his
father), and Gerry Meyer.
o
We pray
for Nancy Feleccia, for healing of ulcers and for Matthew Martin, who is
having tests done.
o
We pray
for those families who are distressed by family problems, remembering
especially Joe, Alice, Diane and Danny Irizzary and their families; the
Arnold family, especially Hilary who has been in conflict with her parents;
the Haag family, especially Ruslan, who is seeking for God and torn between
his family and his friends.
o
We pray
for those who care for the elderly, remembering especially Kathy Scott,
Janice Gordeuk, Elizabeth Caine, Anita Brennan, and Joan Quigg.
o
We pray
for those who are dying, that God will grant them a peaceful and holy
death, remembering especially Patrick O’Sullivan, John Kieser, and Jenny
Gordeuk.
o
We pray
for healing for Fr. Charles Draper, who is recovering from a stroke; for
Fr. Bill Knapp, who is recovering from an automobile accident, for Sandy
Davenport, who is undergoing chemotherapy for Hodgkin’s’ Disease.
o
We pray
for Kayla Bragdon and Lisette Wallen, who have seizure disorders and for
their parents as they care for them and deal with their illnesses.
o We pray also for healing in body, mind and
spirit for June Wright, Irvina and
Guy Crull, Theresa Spencer, George Johnson, Bettie Mannon, Ruth Meredith,
Leonard Gamage, David Phillips, Walter Dunbar, David Berry, Clara Ramsay,
Larry Leonard, Duane Parker, Molly Delph, Mary Ann, Donald, Laura, Nicky,
Glenn, John, Dorothy, Betie, Audrey, Norman, and all others who are in
need.
o We thank God that He is the
God Who heals.
- We give thanks
for the recovery of John and Margaret Holmes from their automobile
accident (6 weeks ago) and for the good health of Rachel Mahue.
o
We pray for the
outreach and evangelism ministries of our Diocese, especially the outreach
committee of St. Francis church.
- We pray
for the members of our armed services, especially Aaron Davis, Rob Seaburg, and Frank.
- We
pray
for the sale of our church building, for a safe and trouble-free move
to Alta Lane.
We pray for
our church family

That
God to fill us with the knowledge of His will. (Col. 1:9)

That
God to give us spiritual wisdom and understanding. (Col. 1:9)

That
God will help us live lives worthy of the Lord. (Col. 1:10)

God will make us pleasing to Him in every way. (Col. 1:10)

That God to strengthen us
with His mighty power, that we may have great endurance and patience. (Col. 1:11)
